Happiness is the biggest chase in life, people try obtaining happiness above wealth, health and also success.
Happiness is something that we desire the most, yet it is so difficult to achieve because of the high boundaries we often set to it.
Now, what exactly do we mean by happiness?
“The feeling of an emotion such as pleasure or joy, the appraisal of life satisfaction or the quality of life, subjective well-being and eudaimonia.”
Joy, cheerfulness, carefreeness... etc are the synonyms of happiness and the different emotions connected with it make people think that it is so difficult to achieve.
Your own personal happiness belongs to you and doesn’t often have to make sense to others. Your definition of happiness is likely a combination of satisfaction, cheeriness, merriment, and jollity. Whereas, Your own happiness comes in a small package of your favourite food, good grades, a release for yet another season of your favourite
series, and that’s exactly how you measure your happiness in bits and pieces.
If pleasure makes me happy today, it doesn’t mean that that same amount of pleasure can make me happy tomorrow.
If short-term satisfaction made me happy yesterday, then it won’t necessarily make me happy the next week, but then maybe you’ll find yet another reason to be joyful and happy about.
So, it’s great to find your happiness in small things and in different aspects of life, to laugh as hard as you want to. Your happiness is not subjected to others.
