INDIA PM NARENDRA MODI CONGRATULATES A NEW-ZEALAND PM JACINDA ARDERN FOR A VICTORY

Last Saturday New-Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Liberal Labour Party won a second term victory. Ardern had secured a massive victory in a New-Zealand general election. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Jacinda Ardern for re-elected as Prime Minister of New-Zealand. Modi recalls their last meet a year ago. Also Modi said that he is looking forward to a relationship between India and New Zealand to a higher level.


Ardern’s Centre left Labour party won 48.9 percent of the vote with 87 percent of the votes counted. Ardern synonyms that her party likely to score the highest result that any party has achieved since the current political system was introduced in 1996, CNN reported. Party was on target to win a majority of the seats in parliament that also hasn’t happened since the last 24 years in New Zealand.



Jacinda Ardern said that her party had got more support from New Zealand than at any time in at least 50 years, she said in front of hundreds of cheering supporters in victory speech in Auckland. “This has not been an Ordinary election, and it’s not an ordinary time”, Ardern said.


Jacinda Ardern promised not to take her new supporters for granted and also to govern for all New Zealand peoples.
