The 5 short segment stories consist of the plot based on the Covid-19 lockdown. The initial release of the film was 16th October 2020 on Amazon Prime. All the 5 stories portray the various stories of all age group people and their struggles and happiness that bloomed in this Lockdown.
It was a great treat for the Kollywood fans to watch movies once again talking about emotions, human needs, and the beauty of life. An anthology of 5 tales out of which Sudha KP's Illamai just nails it. It was an amazing thing to watch Jayaram, Kalidas, Urvasi, and Kalyani delivering so effortlessly. Bhaskar and his granddaughter too lingers around positively. Though the actors and storylines were good, Suhasini's “Coffee anyone” and Rajeev's ‘Reunion’ turns a bit melodramatic when cramped into such limited screen time.
Last but not least, Karthik's ‘Miracle’ gets us back to track and ends on a vibrant note of “Life is still beautiful”. Karthik once again added his magic into this film and gave an amazing ending to the film.
