The first match was an unpredictable win for CSK. Their fans would be delighted as the rivalry between RCB and CSK still remains, and the win would be elated for them. Though CSK's young legs failed to perform in before contests, their all-round performance in yesterday's match showed the spark which MSD stated as one of the reasons for the loss in this tournament that they met with.
But unfortunately, this didn't stand for so much of time. The loss that RCB had did not rupture their place at the points table. However, Stokes-Samon Partnership in the chase with MI not only made their side win, it took CSK to the bottom of the table. Pollard was a flop on that match as he was beaten totally with Gopal's stupendous bowling.
There was a winning streak that had been maintained by Pollard till yesterday’s match with RR. The flop by Pollard in the first innings was compensated by Hardik. Though Kartik Tyagi bowls with a good pace at an average of 140, even he bowled 148 in his third over conceding runs lesser than 8 at the death. However, it was Hardik facing Tyagi's last over demolished to 27 runs. Archer was frustrated during the middle overs bowled by Rajpoot and death bowling by Tyagi.
It was the openers Robbie and Stokes came in. Though Robbie scored well and have a great start to RR, he failed which led Smith to take charge in the power play. But again Pattinson strikes for the second time sending RR skipper back to the pavilion. The Stokes-Samson remarkable innings of partnership having a strike rate of more than 150 made their victory.
It is not still evident who is going to take part in the play-offs. As KXIP maintain their winning streak as 4 and RR's impeccable win over yesterday night against MI is still under confusion. Dream 11 IPL has better stats that show each and every individual performer is playing each day which doesn't end the entertainment of watching it.
